The Juggler – Volume 8

Spring is in the air! In the spirit of the season, we are pleased to say the LightFull team is growing and blossoming with the addition of Victoria Hartman, Vice President of Sales, and Michael Kim, Vice President of Finance and Administration. We’ve also been getting great coverage in the media and most importantly we’ve been getting wonderful fan mail from you, our beloved consumers! 

We also wanted to take a moment to acknowledge Prolog Ventures and, in particular, its founder and LightFull board member, Ilya Nykin.  Prolog Ventures received The Shattered Glass Award in recognition for having the highest number of investments in companies with a woman CEO during 2006.  Congratulations!

Much research has been done on how dining together as a family makes for healthier families.  But a new study in the Journal of the American Dietetic Association shows that the positive effects of dining together as a family are often negated when watching TV at the same time.  April 23-29 is TV-Turnoff Week, so turn off the boob tube! We knew the second we met Victoria that she was the perfect Vice President of Sales for LightFull, not only because of her outstanding sales leadership – with pioneering natural and organic companies like Charter Baking Company; Rudi’s Organic Bakery, LLC; Horizon Organic Dairy (where she was employee #6) and Celestial Seasons – but also because she’s also passionate about family and health.

Michael joins us as Vice President of Finance and Administration, bringing his financial expertise from Levi Strauss & Co., Lehman Brothers and Mars & Co. Consulting (where he it so happens that he worked with Lynn too, but we won’t say how long ago that was!).  When he’s not crunching numbers, you can find Michael out on the golf course.  Welcome Victoria and Michael!
