The Juggler – Volume 4

There has been much excitement this past month at LightFull HQ. September began with brushes with the law for both of us (jury duty), and though it seemed chaotic at the time, we somehow managed to both fulfill our civic responsibilities and make incredible progress in our busiest month so far. Why so exciting you ask? Because thanks to Regan Chavez who wrote to Hungry-Girl.com about LightFull and other fabulous press we’ve received, our email boxes are full with letters from new LightFull fans and we couldn’t be happier. On top of that, we launched the LightFull Satiety Challenge, met Ali Cox (the latest LightFull lady), and got a gaggle of our fans to model our new T-shirts at a host of great charity events across the San Francisco Bay. To get the full scoop on all of this and more, read on!

In Good Health,

Lara and Lynn

Take the LightFull Satiety Challenge!

It’s no secret that we think our deliciously all natural LightFull Smoothies are pretty darn filling – especially for only 90-100 calories. But you be the judge! Go here to download $3.50 in coupons and tell us how long LightFull Smoothies keep you satisfied compared to your usual snack. We’ll donate $1 to a local charity for each person’s entry and you could be one of five winners who’ll win a free spa package!

LightFull Team at Bridge to Bridge Run

We all wish we had more time to eat right, exercise, spend time with family and friends, and support the causes we care most about. We are here to help by sponsoring teams of our smoothie fans to participate in local events. LightFull fans recently participated in the Breast Cancer Fund Peak Hike, America’s Walk for Diabetes and the Bridge to Bridge Run which benefits the Special Olympics of Northern California. Entry fees, smoothies, and t-shirts were all courtesy of LightFull. A special shout-out to our Western Regional Sales Manager, Robyn Kinstle, for raising $900 for the Breast Cancer Fund. In addition to athletic events, we’re supporting artistic endeavors like the Mill Valley Film Festival. Bummed that you didn’t get to participate this time? Let us know if you want to be kept up-to-date on future LightFull sponsored events, or to suggest events you’d like us to sponsor.

The Buzz on LightFull is Building…

… thanks to the tireless efforts of our raving fans and Erin Markey, our Director of Communications, (she’s the hot mama in the middle of the photo from the Breast Cancer Hike). Check out what Hungry-Girl.com, BusinessWeek.com, KABC-TV, BeautyNewsLA.com, The Times of London and DailyCandy.com are saying about LightFull!

Embrace Your Flaws to be Happy and Stress Free!

Have a mole that you hate? Wish you were taller, shorter, blonder, or brunetter (is that a word?)? Let it go! A recent study showed that women who accept their bodies, flaws and all, are more likely to eat mindfully or intuitively, which in turn was associated with psychological well-being, and resilience in the face of stress."

This Month’s LightFull Lady: Meet Ali Cox

Ali Cox and her crew teammates set a world record and won a silver medal in the 2004 Olympics, so for many years training was her full time job. Needless to say, during that time she didn’t worry about not getting enough exercise, and for her getting enough calories was a challenge! Now that she is a marketing exec, she has had to learn how to balance it all just like the rest of us, and has done an amazing job. Learn how she made the transition.

Word from the Growing Satiety Society!

"Just wanted to drop you an email and let you know how much I love your products. I just was introduced to them last week and I am going to let all my girlfriends know how much I enjoy Lightfull Smoothies. I am always looking for a quick, healthy and filling snack or meal which I can easily pack and bring with me to work."
